How It Started
Hello! I’m Irina, a dedicated Speech Pathologist offering support to individuals of all ages and abilities. My services span across Australia, delivering telehealth and mobile speech therapy directly to their doorstep — whether that’s at home, school, daycare, day programs, or anywhere in between.
In 2023, I founded Bambi Bags — a brand named after my beloved dog, Bambi — born out of my search for the perfect work bag. As a mobile therapist juggling a busy schedule, I struggled to find something that truly balanced style, space, organisation, and durability. Carrying everything from toys and books to documents, laptops, iPads, and bulky therapy equipment, the need for a practical yet beautiful bag was constant.
So, I created my own. Bambi Bags are thoughtfully designed based on my real-life experiences in the field, with each detail also shaped by ongoing community feedback. From the choice of fabric and hardware to the size and length of the handles, every element is personally tested and refined. It’s more than just a bag — it’s a product of love and practicality, made for those who, like me, need both style and substance in their everyday lives.

In a world driven by fast consumerism, our mission is to meet demand responsibly. We do this by producing limited quantities and embracing sustainable, ethical practices. This includes partnering with factories that enforce strict anti-modern slavery policies and offering imperfect products at significant discounts to minimise waste.
We are also committed to collaborating with our community to create timeless, aesthetic, and high-quality pieces. This ensures all Bambi Bag products are unique, thoughtfully and exclusively designed in-house.
